Tekken 3 - Not only the best Tekken game but also one of the very best fighting games ever made. The fighting and combos are bit basic howeverġ. The most epic opening sequence and no character in the game feels like "filler" and the best end boss. Tekken 2 - Best soundtrack in the series and the most atmospheric. Has issues though with balancing, the end boss is Heihachi in a diaper and it's missing certain characters like Jack, Anna and Armor King and instead we have.
The best implementation of Tekken Force and has a great soundtrack and visuals that still hold up well for a PS2 game.
Had the balls to change pretty much all the default character outfits and brought in a lot of new and interesting gameplay ideas. Tekken 4 - Darkest game in the franchice, the best character stories. Feels a bit too similar to Tekken 6 though.ģ. I also really like the end battle with Jun/Unknown.
Pretty nice visuals and music that not only good but can be customized as well. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Has nearly every single character from all prior Tekken games, TAG and 1vs1 battles. Why it isn't ranked higher is that there is too much sillyness in the game with plenty of the character endings, the custom items etc.Ĥ. The awful "Devil Within" mode removed and also with a less cheap Jinpachi. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection - Like the regular Tekken 5 but with more characters and stages.
